AIT Soldiers getting Command Sponsorship? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/ait-soldiers-getting-command-sponsorship

How does Command Sponsorship work for Soldiers in AIT getting assigned overseas? How will the soldier be able to meet the requirements to put their kids on the PCS Orders? I'm sure said individual will need a power of attorney. Anyone seen, or been through this?
Thanks. Then, once the Soldier reports to the Replacement Battalion/station (or whatever it's called now) they are given their permanent assignment & PCS Orders. The Soldier's family can then join them once the Soldier gains command sponsorship for their family members. At least that's how it was done when I was assigned to Germany in the 1990s in my prior service.
