Am I able to leave my first duty station by re-enlisting to go to Korea?

I have two and a 1/2 year contract, and once I get to my first duty station, I’ll have exactly two years left. Once my reenlistment window opens up, am I able to reup with option 4 to go to Korea? I’m hearing different timelines to be able to PCS out of a duty station. Would I be able to PCS to korea as soon as I reup or do I have to be at my first duty station for certain amount of time? (Like 12 months or 23 months mandatory?)

Sgt? 2.5 year contract, both suspect to scrutiny. Be more concise regarding your current rank, are you currently in AIT, and if not what is your status?

2.5 year contract? That seems very strange. The Army offers enlistment contracts of two years, three years, four years, five years, and six years. Not sure how you got a contract for 2.5 years. But, I'm not a recruiter so I won't dig too deep on that one. What I am concerned about is that your rank is listed as SGT yet you state "once I get to my first duty station" which tells me that you are in AIT. How in the world did you enlist in the Army and get SGT right off the bat?

12 month minimum time on station... always...unless you're a friggen T.

It’s 12 months time on station for nominative assignments. You also need to change you name and rank to properly reflect your full name and rank. If you are in AIT, you’re not a SGT. An option 4 is airborne. There are no airborne units in Korea. Also, if you are active duty, you cannot get a contract of less then 3 years to include your IET. If CONUS, it’s 36 months time on station before branch will move you

The report date to Korea will he whatever report date they have available. It could be 3 months away or 13. Your new report date will have to be at least 24 months after you reported to your current duty station. If you wanted to reenlist for training like Airborne or F3 it's 12 months on station.
