Am I allowed to wear makeup at BLC?

I am a female going to BLC at Fort Carson in a few weeks. Do I bother bringing makeup with me?

It is a military school, AR 670-1 is the standard.
I have other opinions on the matter but I'll keep my mouth shut as to not offend anyone.

How should I prepare for BLC? | RallyPoint

I will be going to BLC (formerly WLC) in September before I leave for 68P school. I will be going to Ft Dix for 3 weeks. I thought BLC was for 4 weeks? Would there be any reason it would only be 3? How can I prepare for BLC besides the PT test? What is Ft Dix like during BLC?

BLC is like any other active ARMY school. They go directly by regulation - which you will begin to learn. Just like other posts - I have my feelings on the subject however, If you follow regulation you won't be wrong. Time management will be an issue though. Good luck and study hard!

I’ve only been to BCT and AIT. I couldn’t wear it at BCT but I could at AIT so that’s why I’m not sure what the expectations is.

I will tell you the only make up you will have time for is making up a test if you fail but don't do that. BLC isn't a beauty contest.

You are allowed make up, as per regulations. But you really won't have time to apply make up before starting the day

I’m currently in BLC right now (I graduate Friday) and I would not bother. You will make yourself stick out in a negative way. They will think you are there to find a relationship not progress your career. Also you will have very little time to even do your makeup. You have 1 hour in the morning after PT to do personal hygiene and eat before you have to be in class. It would target you as well if you happen to be late one day and you have makeup on they would automatically assume you’re late because you were doing your makeup.

For anyone reading this in the future, I did make Commandant’s List and I had plenty of time to put on makeup in the morning.
