SPC Private RallyPoint Member 5854182 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My husband just started army basic training. I just arrived at my first duty station. I am still receiving BAH. What should I do since my husband is not my dependent anymore. I am a specialist and my husband is still listed on my orders. I don&#39;t want to end up owing BAH. What should I do? Am I authorized to continue receiving BAH if I'm at my first duty station and my husband just joined and started basic training? 2020-05-05T15:52:25-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 5854182 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My husband just started army basic training. The orders may need to be amended. DEERS will need to be updated showing you and your spouse are dual military. If different duty locations you will both get BAH but not w/ dependents. It don’t married if he/she is in the service or not or should get with the dependent rate and the without the dependent rate. That how me and my wife did it. So you still are due BAH Response by SGT Eric Davis made May 5 at 2020 10:39 PM 2020-05-05T22:39:42-04:00 2020-05-05T22:39:42-04:00 2020-05-05T15:52:25-04:00
