A bunch of us got directly bused to Ft Knox Armor School for M-113 training. We showed up at Armor School, told us to take off all the Blue Infantry gear! Claimed since we haven&#39;t even been assigned to an Infantry outfit we couldn&#39;t wear it at Ft Knox..or words to that effect! Kinda pissed us off too!! Came away with MOS 11B1U. For instance, I will still have the 11B MOS when I convert to the recruiter MOS, but I can no longer wear my cord when it is my secondary MOS. The only authorized exception to this is Army recruiters who have held an Infantry MOS.
