Am I promotable or do I still need to go to a board if my promotion points show on SRB and PPW says recommend E6-Step NCOES Req?

Im still kind of confused what exactly it means when my PPW says recommend e6-step NCOES req and points show on my SRB since I know I still need to go to ALC but i never went to the board. I know a bit about the new promotion system but still a little confused. Am I promotable or do I still need to go to a board?

STEP is to Select, Train, Educate, and Promote. You will pin when you have completed ALC. You should also be placed at the top of the OML based on Selection date. Insist on going to ALC. Submit a short notice DA 4187.

You are promotable. Now read the promotion point ALARACT so that you can explain it to your Joe's. This is something you should know intimately.
