am i qualified for getting BAH with a shared room?

can my wife live in a shared-room and still qualified for BAH? Or do we have to rent a whole house? We are on budget, so she is trying to rent a room(not house).

You can live in a cardboard box. The military provides the means but what you choose to do with those means is up to you.
