Am I reading this DOD Manpower Report correct, SAM Sea Air Mariner enlistment was drawing down and only 1000 had this enlistment?

It states the SAM Sea Air Mariner enlistment was drawing down and only approximately 1000 had this enlistment which is far below 1% of Navy Manpower. I signed the SAM Enlistment 1994 at 18, was put in the fleet with it on some FFG’s, at the exact time they were shutting down the enlistment.

Why are you repeatedly posting the same material about your Sea Air Mariner enlistment being special and unique. Are you any more special or unique than the countless men and women that have served, or are currently serving? What exactly are you trying to accomplish with all of these re-posts?

Statistically speaking, was a Sea Air Mariner being assigned to an FFG one of the rarest Navy...

1994 DOD Manpower Requirement Reports only 900 SAM in the Navy of 500,000 Personnel. There were 3000 Units a SAM could be assigned. Of those 3000 Units only 16 FFGs would even have the possibility for a SAM assigned a billet. Statistically it would be extreme rare assignment. I am still looking for another SAM on a FFG.
