All that grunt style and 9line stuff plays to a niche and makes money, so it continues to sell.
I feel that it is a bit much and falls into the usual "new soldier" who is proud of being a Soldier, but doesnt realize that sometimes its best to not be seen as a typical Soldier, they cant separate work from play essentially.
Also theres the people who "support" by buying clothes, rather than just sign up.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 4 at 2019 11:43 AM2019-11-04T11:43:42-05:002019-11-04T11:43:42-05:00SGT David A. (especially with Florida plates :-P ) But seriously I see stuff like this all the time... NOTHING in this clothing SAYS veteran..NOTHING!!! ITS A FLAG and a cap with a FLAG. People may see it and like it, people may see it and not like it. (Personally I don't like caps, and dont like printed shirts--but that's me) Because if you and people like you want to bitch about stolen valor, I know of a LONG line of 90 year olds and 60-70 year olds that bitch that anyone who has been "deployed" since 1975 hasn't seen "the real shit" Put it this way. About 7500 dead since 2003. In June 1944, we lost 4414 on June 6th on Omaha beach alone. Over 12,000 died during the month of June. In the long run its all bullshit. In the past people have tried to pass themselves off as soldiers. Most of us ignored them. It just seems weird that this stolen valor BS phenomena has come to light in the past 10 years sort of like an adult participation trophy. Here's a clue. YOU DID WHAT YOU DID FOR YOUR ULTIMATELY. If you say anything else, you're full of it brother. I know tons of men and some women who fought an enemy in the ETO/PTO, in Korea, Vietnam. I know men who pulled their friends out of the rubble in Beirut, and in each of the UN or US actions since then. It seems only recently that the bitching was about a piece of metal they wear on their chest. THose that came before bitched because they were in a meat grinder. Lets put it in perspective. You made it..others that came before you didn't......Response by MAJ Rj M made Nov 5 at 2019 8:59 AM2019-11-05T08:59:03-05:002019-11-05T08:59:03-05:00MSgt Michael Smith5203808

Last time I checked anyone can wear anything they want.
