Am I supposed to get a new initial issue for uniforms when going active duty army from the guard. I did not go back to AIT. Stayed same MOS?

That would be a negative, SPC Private RallyPoint Member. The Army has already issued you uniforms while in the NG. Each year, your unit should've replaced a set or two. Now that you're on AD, you will receive a uniform allowance each year that will be used to replace items that need replacing. You are now responsible for replacing your uniform.

At times RA and RC had different standards for quantity of clothing issued. If that is the case, you may be able to at least get the difference.
