Never heard if the guy pulled through or not. Had two battles almost die prior to this. One who had to be rushed to the hospital for strep throat AFTER passing his PT test, and another due to over-hydrating. It was 130+ heat index, and he drank way too much water. Other than that, the only confirmed death I can recall by name was a soldier I trained with at Ft. Sam Houston who died on Christmas Eve due to sleep apnea while on leave with his wife and young daughters. I know it isn&#39;t due to training, but he was one hell of a motivated soldier medic, and weighed heavy on all of us. As for this Ranger who has lost his life training, Rest in Peace brother.
