Close to Frankfurt to go do stuff, but far enough away for a more local feel. Housing area was good, but then again, that was over 10 years ago. Germany is beautiful. the food and culture are amazing. Germany and Europe are very easy to travel through on the train if you like to travel. Living abroad might seem like it will be overwhelming but it is an experience that i will always cherish. living off post was nice, on post was much more convenient. once again nothing is very far when you can ride a bike, catch a cab, or drive your POV. I was as the now non existent Leighton Brks, but Germany was a wonderful experience, rich in history and experiences!
