Unless I'm misunderstanding the article it's just stating that the division headquarters will become deployable. It currently has subordinate brigades under its command and control, but they don't seem to be flagged 7th ID so to say. It's one thing to reactivate the HQ element, it's another to reactivate the division in its full glory with infantryman running around with the 7th ID patch in combat engaging the enemy. It would seem that we're facing the former as opposed to the latter.

It appears that they are going to move 2nd ID from Korea back to Lewis. This is in preparation for that. 1st Brigade at Camp Casey is inactivating. Who knows what's in the end game?

SSG Jeffrey Spencer are you thinking that 2nd ID is going to reflag to 7th ID? I had no idea that we were reorganizing our South Korean forces. You'd think we'd be bolstering our strength there, not drawing it down.
