Any experience working with JPMorgan Chase, in particular as an Auto Finance Collections Specialist?

I am pending a job offer from JPMorgan Chase for an Auto Finance Collections Specialist position that starts on the 25th of January. I finally got somewhere, and it was through the power of networking.

I don't want to get too excited since there is not definite or solid offer but at this point I'll accept anything as I now have a child on the way. It's not too far from my house which is good but just curious if anyone has anything good or bad to say?

I worked in consumer credit in the past--it's a different landscape. When I toured BOFA I also considered a position in collections. The employees explained that it is a good day when you talk to one or two people. If you are fortunate enough to get someone on the phone it is up to you at that point to use the tools at your disposal to recover for the bank. It's a challenging position and great opportunity to hone some valuable skills. Congrats on the new position!

Made the offer today.

I was offered a variety of shifts and during the interviews and even today they said they really needed "night time" people (and it paid 10% more) and I let them know I was flexible during the interview, and even though they said they needed night shift people, they left the door open to other shifts so I didn't want to commit then.

I got the call today to accept an offer and sure enough I took the "night shift" which has the better pay and hours that may work better
