I believe he took the enlisted position to finish his years for retirement. Would this have required him to resign his commission, or be placed on the inactive list, in order to sign an enlistment under the rules at the time? See, because your multiple Facebook pages have you being a Vietnam Vet, enlisted AND ascending to LTC, but the Army only says you made it SP6? Discharged for a pregnancy as a Private after less than 2 yrs(‘78-‘80) and you were nowhere NEAR Vietnam, got back in and NO record of any commissioning at any time.
