Try searching by using Homestead as a tag for your search. I search for fellow battle buddies by typing in my units that that I've been in hoping to find people on RP that I know from those same units.

1979-1983. I was Air Force, but worked south of the city of Homestead at the Navy site in the swamp off of Card Sound Rd.
