Hey ya'll! Quick question. I'm possibly in potion to get an AGR position in Wausau, WI with the 687 CS HHC. Any pointers, suggestions and details about the unit and area would be extremely helpful.

Can't tell about the reserve but the Guard doesn't issue it to us unless we deploy.

Not sure what position you're going to fill but congrats.

Remember one thing. There are two kinds of balls: rubber and glass. Know what you can drop and what you can't when managing a unit. Don't drop the glass balls and you'll excel for years to come.

Giving good advice, my input is to keep all your true friends close for support, but keep the enemy closer and the unknowns under you constant watch. A small amount of paranoia isnt a bad thing going into the position you are. Good luck, and be careful.

Work hand to hand with the supply sergeant since you both will be in HHC. If is a BN or higher, you will have a Senior Maintenance NCO that you will feed monthly reports but you will still report for accountability to the unit 1SG/CDR and Unit Administrator. Hope you do well!

Ask for the BN/BDE or whatever it may be monthly suspense. Also make sure you request a CMDP to be conducted on your unit within 6 months after arrival to the unit and that will give you a clear picture of what's squared away and what needs to be corrected.
