I would recommend using different sources to study: book, flashcards, practice tests similar to how CompTIA words there questions, and look into the simulations. When you take the exam just keep yourself relaxed and don't spend too much time on the questions, the first few questions are generally the simulations which take up the most time depending on the question. I have found where I have little to no experience on given topic, powering through the reading material helps tremendously. However, where I have some experience on the topic I choose to skim a chapter then take the end of chapter test. Sometimes I will go right to the end of chapter test directly, and if I pass with a 90% or better I don't read the chapter. This enables me to focus on my weak areas to keep my studying as directed as possible. This method has worked for me throughout my career. Once you are completing end of chapter tests with 90% or better you should be ready for any certification exam. Good luck!! You got this! I took the 1 week course through CECOM and watched Professor Messer's YouTube videos. Just study the port numbers, OSI model and the encryption algorithms, and watch the youtube videos should help.
