Anybody here a business owner and still on AD? What are your challenges?

My wife and I just took over a marketing and promotional company about four months ago in Columbia SC. We are looking into the advantages and differences with a female owned business and a veteran owned business. I still have another year and a half left till 21. But challenges is time for me to assist and guide company in right direction. A lot of time off duty but the benefit was that the company already had a book of business that we are continuing to follow but tweak at the same time. Training on all the ins and outs when running a business is where outside mentorship where ever you can get it always helps.

I am a business owner and still an active duty Sgt in the Marines. I own Peggy O'neill's Irish Pub & Eatery in Tampa Florida with a business partner 50/50 and I am stationed in Camp Pendleton, Ca so you can imagine the challenges with that situation. The biggest challenge I have is obviously not being there. I took a month off and flew out there to buy the bar and work in it and it was the most stressful, amazing and liberating time of my life.
