Anyone else dropping social media accounts due to the recent data mining and privacy concerns? For me, the risk/benefit ratio is leaning away from benefit. While I enjoy connecting with people I know/knew on Facebook, I don't like how much info they gather about me and my activities. While Facebook may be focused on how to turn my info into an advertising revenue stream, I'm not sure others that may have access or gain access through nefarious means are so well meaning. Your thoughts?

As far as I'm concerned, the government can collect all the info they want about me. The important stuff stays off of the net anyways.

I dropped FB because of all the idiots. There are much fewer on RallyPoint.

I never spent too much time on FB and they don't have much of a clue on what my interests or activities are. Always been nervous of their true intentions due to the immaturity and naivete of their CEO........who in my view is far less developed between the ears than Donald Trump.
