<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am a 35X arriving to Fort Huachuca in August. I was contacted by my sponsor today and told I am slotted to report to B Co, 309th MI BN. He is not sure why and neither am I. It is a HUMINT and CI training unit and has no 35X billets. It's not for the 1SG position and I'm not the only X in bound. Anyone have any insight as to why I would be going here?Tue, 18 Jul 2017 20:06:59 -0400Anyone from 309th MI BN?

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You are probably being sent to hold there until staff positions or 1SG positions open up. There is a massive re-org of NCOs going on right now because they want as many senior NCOs on platform as possible. I wouldn't get to comfortable there, there is a lot of shuffling going on at Huachuca right now.MAJ Private RallyPoint MemberWed, 19 Jul 2017 10:13:07 -04002017-07-19T10:13:07-04:00Response by SFC Joseph Lumpkins made Jul 19 at 2017 6:11 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I worked at 309th as a 35X. B co at that time also had the BN HQ. The S3 NCOIC is a 35X position. Back in the late 80's 309th trained the 96Bs.MSG Charles PerkinsWed, 26 Jul 2017 23:07:44 -04002017-07-26T23:07:44-04:00Response by SSG Michael Needham made Jul 27 at 2017 2:05 PM
