The recruiter has told me since I have had a 6 years break in service that I need to go back to basic training. That is all fine and dandy I will just be the most high speed there as I already know what&#39;s going on. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Although I haven&#39;t returned to basic training, in my basic training cycle, we had a female who was returning due to her having a baby then re enlisting after the child started school. From my observation, so take it with a grain of salt, DON&#39;T try to be the high speed &quot;hooah&quot; guy that thinks he is better than everyone. We had a Soldier act like that because his brother was a recruiter, the Drill Sergeants had a field day smoking him (and our platoon) for what he thought he knew. Meanwhile, She stayed to her self and listened to our drill Sergeants and came out as squad leader and was promoted to PFC before we ever knew she was prior enlisted. I asked her after the cycle what it was like and she said she enjoyed the new BCT and had fun comparing the two experiences there.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;m currently in fort Benning waiting to get inserted into training as a 19D. I&#39;ve been here two months. It&#39;s more relaxed for prior service but there still is rules.
