I have been a SFC for 18 months and have not updated my DA Photo and I need to get on it soon. <br /><br />You may have a hard sell to the board unless you have a good, no bullshit reason why you have been an E6 for so long without finding some way to get the photo done.<br /><br />With the electronic boards on the reserve side, the DA Photo is about the only way to assess your military appearance and bearing. <br /><br />Do the memo, just to let them know you are aware of the deficiency, but I strongly suggest you find a way to get the photo. <br /><br />Perhaps when you go to AT, or NCOES you can arrange the photo
