Currently pushing a DD 368 up my chain, Amy and all responses are appreciated! Thanks! Anyone have experience, transitioning from guard/reserves to active duty? 2020-07-11T19:46:27-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 6092976 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Just curious how things went when you showed up to your new unit. Just because you&#39;ve done five to six years in the guard does not mean that the big army is going to recognize that. They literally will add up your drill time, AT time, over seas deployments (no state deployments) any active duty days like ADOS/GDOS, to recognize how to pay you or how &quot;long&quot; you have been serving. Worse case, your TIG/TIS may start back to zero but you will retain rank. Your NG ribbons, put them in a little box of memories. Any specialized training, you will keep (BLC, Airborne...)
