Some guys really fit the bill of a recruiter and excel, most guys don’t so he may end up being in a pretty bad mood from the general climate on recruiting duty. I don’t want to scare you but you should know the truthResponse by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 26 at 2021 4:44 PM2021-04-26T16:44:56-04:002021-04-26T16:44:56-04:00CW2 Private RallyPoint Member6930277<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It depends on the location, station, and population. If it's a blue area with money...lots of work and little to show. If the command team/station commander sucks or has preconceived notions of how they think recruiting should be...then long hours. <br />If the population is welcoming, or he knows how to talk to people and sell, then it'll be pretty good. But there's a lot that goes into it these days, it's not all 15 hour days including weekends. If you don't perform and aren't hitting numbers- you'll work long hours. If you hit the numbers, life is easy.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 26 at 2021 4:49 PM2021-04-26T16:49:51-04:002021-04-26T16:49:51-04:00SSG Edward Tilton6930716<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I still wake up screamingResponse by SSG Edward Tilton made Apr 26 at 2021 8:40 PM2021-04-26T20:40:04-04:002021-04-26T20:40:04-04:00SSgt Christophe Murphy6932145<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Experiences may vary. Just as any special duty assignment. Some go out there and smash it and get rewarded for their hard work. It's a non deployable duty station so there is a give and take for being out there. I know plenty of folks who struggled on recruiting but I also know plenty that thrived.Response by SSgt Christophe Murphy made Apr 27 at 2021 11:41 AM2021-04-27T11:41:52-04:002021-04-27T11:41:52-04:00SSG Edward Tilton6934568<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Something positive, eh, I don’t wake up screaming as much as I used toResponse by SSG Edward Tilton made Apr 28 at 2021 12:59 PM2021-04-28T12:59:43-04:002021-04-28T12:59:43-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member6934592<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a target="_blank" href="https://youtu.be/7zEmppnqzzw">https://youtu.be/7zEmppnqzzw</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-youtube">
