I use a tablet for RP and for whatever reason (fat finger most common) will get scrolled away from the post I looking at. When I try to get back to where I was, the post isn't right where I left off. For instance it may have been the third or fourth item, but now it's not there. This is really frustrating. Is there something I can do to quickly get back to where I was?

Once you leave your place, you can never find your way back. Don't fight it, just start scrolling all over again. You might find yr original place somewhere in the future, but don't count on it. RP works to confound, always changing..

Yeah, I hate that too. I scroll down a bunch of posts on the home page, see one where I want to read the comments, click on it and read the comments, then want to go back to the home page to see what else looks interesting. So I hit the back button, but don't end up at the same spot on the list of posts. Instead, I end up having to scroll down through them all again, and the order of the posts may have changed. Very frustrating amd time consuming when viewing on a tablet.

Yup, you've got me exactly. Did learn through this question that the not going back to where you left is intentional. RP wants to keep things fresh. Don't know about you but when this happens to me the only thing that is fresh is the language coming out of my mouth.

Are you looking in the Answer forums or in your feed?

Items in your feed are different than the Answer forum. The Answer forum is organized by date/time of post whereas the feed, which includes shared links and updates are not. I feel your frustration though because the same happens to me. Sadly, if you have yet to interact with a post, for example left a comment, there is no quick way to find it again; at least as far as I'm aware.

SSG James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4", you got any insight brother?

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - The home feed is actually designed this way so that every time the page loads, the user sees new content. That way there's some variety to your RP experience and you're not stuck seeing the same things over and over.

SSG James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" - Thanks, will do that for discussions I've posted to. Just have to scroll for those I haven't I guess.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - However, I certainly understand the frustration from your point of view. Thanks for the feedback!
