Anyone here on RallyPoint volunteer with Honor Flight?

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.

Yes, MSgt Neil Greenfield. Both my wife and I volunteered while living in the Washington DC area. We haven't participated since moving to NC in 2016.

How I would greatly enjoy volunteering at this or any other veteran organization out there. But having to do my wife's dialysis at home 5 days a week and then go to work afterwards hardly leaves me anytime for anything else. Hoping once we get the transplant done maybe we can have some sort of *normal* life once again and we can spend more time doing the things we did before.

MSgt Neil Greenfield in New York the 417 EN CO (H) escorted the convoy prior to their flight. I personally never went, but my Soldiers who went loved it and always wanted to volunteer for the next one.

I just saw your post....I am a volunteer with the Badger Honor Flight organization badgerhonorflight.org located in Madison, WI....I have also been on an Honor Flight in May of last year. This is a terrific opportunity for veterans that qualify.
