Got rid of everything except my STABO extraction harness and my boots. Boots still fit, as to the harness....

Yes. I'm used to pack runs or just walking everywhere with my pack. When I had to turn that in, the 1st thing I did was go buy a new pack. It is a 2nd skin. Wearing gear just feels natural.

There's one piece of gear I'd wear every day but can't. It's my Antarctic double gradient sunglasses. Bet you thought it was something that wouldn't cover my butt anymore. My prescription has changed many times over the years. I have found out I can still get them made special order without the cheek pads though. As for a few pieces of 782 Gear, I just have to get a whiff of that depot canvas smell to bring back the memories.
