Anyone know of any open seats for a SLC class?

Im trying to get into a SLC class sooner than later, my training NCO found a class for me but its not until Aug 2020. I was trying to find a class earlier than that date.

Depends on MOS. But you can log into ATRRS and look up slc for the mos and see the different places and dates ect. Are you on the Promotion list already?

Your training NCO is your best resource. A good one will typically scour their allocations first, then if none of those dates work for you, they will look at ATRRS and see if there are other courses and try to get a cross org seat from another BDE.
like SFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member mentioned, SLC is MOS dependent, so schoolhouses that do offer those courses may only have those specific dates.

Most people I know have been waiting for over a year to get their SLC slot, this stupid ass STEP program has created a mega back log. I got picked up last year and was barely contacted in late may about a date, but I'm awaiting reclass so it wouldn't matter for me.

Most of the time they slightly overbook, figuring that after looking a profiles and doing the APFT, they will cut the class size down.
