There is no “Master guns” just MSG. Lastly, the uniform is very similar with the
exception that we don’t roll up our sleeves as that has been recently authorized
by the USMC. We also wear patches to identify unit... Everything else will be OJT for you. I know this is a bit Barney Style; however it’s
just few of the differences that I had seen here. Good Luck.

1SG Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 13 Mar 2014 07:22:53 -0400 2014-03-13T07:22:53-04:00 Response by 1SG John Millan made Feb 15 at 2024 11:14 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/anyone-knowledgeable-on-going-usmc-to-army-national-guard?n=8664648&urlhash=8664648

Yes, VERY streamlined process! The NG LOVES us prior ordeal dogs! It was easy when I switched from USMCR to NG in 90 after USMC active duty and it’s even easier now. 1SG John Millan Thu, 15 Feb 2024 23:14:49 -0500 2024-02-15T23:14:49-05:00 2014-01-31T10:12:13-05:00
