When I got out in 93, I went to work modifying the aircraft I worked on while I was in the Marine Corps. I switched careers and now i work on stuff for MCRC (Marine Corps Recruiting Command) to help the Marine Corps get recruiting leads. Metro area is the place to be. Entry- to mid- level positions for government contractors are ALWAYS readily available. I have worked for various private sector contracts with DoD, DHS, and the State Department. If you're looking for a career change, have a clearance, and can easily make the move to N.
