SSgt Rilene Ann you best believe it, I like Paul Hardcastle (contemporary smooth jazz) and the instruments/percussions just take my mind to another universe......Sweet, and then sweeter......lots of laughs

One time on a cruise I was dared to sing YMCA at the Karaoke lounge by my wife. I was drunk enough to say yes. The music started blaring upon my presence on the stage. The words were coming up and I found myself wallowing in my ineptitude and commenced cussing in the mic. The heathens started to laugh as I repeated YMCA and none of the other lyrics. My dignity was saved by my wife and another angel who were very good singers. People even danced on the floor. I was so bad that I was asked to return the following night. I was known on the ship as the YMCA dude and my wife was known as the woman married to the YMCA dude all over the ship.

Chuckles. I think everyone has a story. They changed the rules in the Airman's club due to my dancing w a friend. Apparently, we were too close. Lol. Long time ago. I don't dance or drink, at all, anymore...

I don't play any instruments which is ironic as my father was a band leader, minister of music, and could play any instrument made by man...and now he is play those instruments in heaven. It wasn't important to me as a kid or young man but now I wish I had learned to play one and been decent at it. I do sing and love to do that and I listen to various types of music dependent of whatever mood I am in...always therapeutic. Music can soothe a savage beast!!! That is a beautiful flute and I bet it will make sweet music for you to enjoy.
