I had a fall back in June and sprained my right wrist badly. It was very frustrating experience as I was scheduled to attend SLC and I ended up not being able to go due my temporary profile. The injury slowly healed until I felt that it was good enough to start working out again (but it was never 100%). I also got a new SLC date for March.

Two weeks ago, I had another fall and my right wrist once again started to hurt. I went back to see the doctor to have my wrist checked out. The X-rays didn't show anything, but the doc is suspecting that my ligaments are torn so I have been referred to a have an MRI done.

Now I have checked out the online medical references for wrist injuries and torn ligaments. Yes, my symptoms matches up perfectly for torn ligaments. I think that my ligaments was torn already back in June, it never healed, and the second fall only made the injury worse. I now might need have reconstructive surgery.

Does anyone have experience of reconstructive surgery of wrist ligaments? I'm mostly concerned about timelines as I really need to attend SLC in March.

Thanks in advance!
