Approaching retirement and I run my own business. Before I could do much with my website my FB page exploded and keeps me busy. Thoughts?

There are also 2 sites you can sign up on. One site is custommade.com and the other is Houzz.com. You can showcase your items and bid on projects. I'm on both as well.

It's hard to miss with a good product or service and yours seems to fit that description.

Websites and Facebook pages are like storefronts. They're worthless without traffic (foot traffic past stores and visitors to virtual storefronts). You can use other social media such as Twitter and Instagram, et al for that purpose.

GySgt Clement I would Never get into a Marine's face, but.. this work is OUTSTANDING !!!, and yes I am telling YOU that, Sir.!! I have imported, Swiss made, Gouges, Chisels, Knives, Vee tools, ETC. I have used many woods, however, I like Maple, or Poplar. I have worked deep relief carving with lettering, I realize the patience, and the focus to detail necessary to achieve such quality of work that you have accomplished. I also have a side business and working full time active duty I just didn't have the time to create and maintain a site so I use etsy.com. I think the products you provide would fit in very well there because they are hand made and that is what etsy is all about. I also feel you could charge double what you charge + shipping.

It's all about markets and what you do can easily be pushed to other markets. My shop is Aaron Makes Stuff on Etsy and I sale tools to the knitting community. My sales were slow the first few months but they picked up quickly once I found where to directly advertise (knitting forums / Instagram)
