That guy is awesome.

I went to summer camp when I was younger, and got a start with archery there. When I was a teen, I bought a compound bow and had a blast with it.

I have decided that I want a crossbow, and perhaps a pistol crossbow too. Bows/crossbows are almost silent, so they are something you can do in your backyard (have a good backstop though!) and you can reuse the ammo. Very cost-effective! It shoots 390 FPS and is accurate without kentucky windage out to 80 yards. That is where the compensator for my scope stops....guess its time to get a new scope so i can get to 100. Get a GOOD gun and get a GOOD bow. Dr Tolle called it utility. It has to do what you want it to do otherwise y you buy another one that does. This is a good trick shooter just like a good Circus knife thrower. He is using a very light pull bow and is an awesome trick shooter. I used to practice up to 60 yards. ( Compound bow, beason bead sights, overdraw, TM hunter arrow rest, shooting 24 inch xx75 arrows with glue in tips, pulling 94 pounds, 298 fps) I would aim at about a three inch round dot close my eyes , count to 3 and squeeze off my winflite quick release, count to three and open my eyes. I got good enough to put the arrow in the dot every shot. I used to shoot the outdoor 3-d tournamnets ( Mostly Mckenzie deer, hog , and turkey targets.) A perfect score was 300. I was real good at judging yardage and would score between 285 to my best of 296. You don't have to have a gun to kill somebody, lol. I just started shooting again today. My daughter who was born in 1996 asked me to teach her so I bought her a simple Thundor 35 lb recurve, no sights, no fancy arrow rest, no stabilizer bar, just a simple recurve and some arrows. She seems to be a natural. If she sticks with it, I may move her up to a compound a little later. I was pretty deadly up to 60 yards with a compound and up to 40 with a recurve.
