Are Army Aviation Technical Inspectors in your unit REQUIRED to be on flight status? Do they have an "F" identifier in their MOSC?

Not in my unit. Then again we are AH-64 guys. But then again, we fly on anything that will get us to the DART or PL scene.

You got me wondering now...

I know my unit has TIs that are not on flight status.

I had the "F" identifier when I was a T.I. in Korea.
