SPC Erich Guenther 6796241 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Last time I did this was 2004 and you had to present a certificate of death and it had to be an immediate family member. My question is do airlines still offer discount bereavement fares if a close relative dies and you need to get tickets on short notice? I think the Funeral Home has the Certificates of Death on hand or at least a good copy. Are Berevement Fares on Airlines still offered? 2021-03-04T23:19:05-05:00 SPC Erich Guenther 6796241 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Last time I did this was 2004 and you had to present a certificate of death and it had to be an immediate family member. I would look at one of the many travel sites or just see what SATO has to offer these days. Also be aware that SATO flights are not always the cheapest, so if you are paying out of pocket, shop around.
