PFC John Roscoe 7127588 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I was active duty, I had to get all the mandatory vaccinations- heck, I was a medic- I gave thousands of vaccinations. Even in AIT it is was driven home more troops died from disease than bullets. If the military (which determines by need and advantage) a vaccine is necessary, than why would any object to Covid vaccination? Are Covid vaccinations mandatory "To Preserve The Fighting Strength"? 2021-07-23T10:50:19-04:00 PFC John Roscoe 7127588 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I was active duty, I had to get all the mandatory vaccinations- heck, I was a medic- I gave thousands of vaccinations. Plus people don&#39;t like being told what&#39;s best for them.<br /><br />But in a bit it will be approved and it will be mandatory for everyone in the DOD Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 23 at 2021 1:40 PM 2021-07-23T13:40:45-04:00 2021-07-23T13:40:45-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 7128815 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Because DOD can&#39;t force it until it&#39;s fully approved by the FDA and powers that be.<br /><br />As a side note, hope everyone enjoys their umpteenth anthrax shot because they lost your records, etc etc. Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 23 at 2021 7:23 PM 2021-07-23T19:23:28-04:00 2021-07-23T19:23:28-04:00 Marcus Williams 7131135 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not mandatory, but definitely the smart thing to do in my opinion. Given the statistics at this point, I can&#39;t really see much of a valid reason to object. I think you can refuse if you want to and seeing as there isn&#39;t a huge mortality rate....less than 0.0084 I would guess they wouldn&#39;t make you. Good Luck!
