PFC John Roscoe7127588<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I was active duty, I had to get all the mandatory vaccinations- heck, I was a medic- I gave thousands of vaccinations. Even in AIT it is was driven home more troops died from disease than bullets. If the military (which determines by need and advantage) a vaccine is necessary, than why would any object to Covid vaccination? Are Covid vaccinations mandatory "To Preserve The Fighting Strength"?2021-07-23T10:50:19-04:00PFC John Roscoe7127588<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I was active duty, I had to get all the mandatory vaccinations- heck, I was a medic- I gave thousands of vaccinations. Plus people don't like being told what's best for them.<br /><br />But in a bit it will be approved and it will be mandatory for everyone in the DODResponse by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 23 at 2021 1:40 PM2021-07-23T13:40:45-04:002021-07-23T13:40:45-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member7128815<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Because DOD can't force it until it's fully approved by the FDA and powers that be.<br /><br />As a side note, hope everyone enjoys their umpteenth anthrax shot because they lost your records, etc etc.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 23 at 2021 7:23 PM2021-07-23T19:23:28-04:002021-07-23T19:23:28-04:00Marcus Williams7131135<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not mandatory, but definitely the smart thing to do in my opinion. Given the statistics at this point, I can't really see much of a valid reason to object.Response by Marcus Williams made Jul 24 at 2021 8:32 PM2021-07-24T20:32:29-04:002021-07-24T20:32:29-04:00SFC Jim Ruether7146533<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I sure hope they don't use that as an excuse to vaccinate all of you in the service of your country. I think you can refuse if you want to and seeing as there isn't a huge mortality rate....less than 0.0084 I would guess they wouldn't make you.
