In basic/AIT females were excluded from the male barracks but at permanent party assignments there were no such restrictions as long as nothing was occurring that shocked the sensibilities of roommates etc. Response by SSG Jeremy Sharp made Apr 25 at 2018 8:49 PM 2018-04-25T20:49:06-04:00 2018-04-25T20:49:06-04:00 Sgt Private RallyPoint Member 3577073

You should have a barracks SOP. If not, ask your chain of command.

https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/are-females-allowed-overnight-passes-in-the-barracks-on-weekends

Are females allowed overnight passes in the barracks on weekends? | RallyPoint

Can my girlfriend spend the night with me in my barracks room over the weekend?

Response by Sgt Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 25 at 2018 8:52 PM 2018-04-25T20:52:28-04:00 2018-04-25T20:52:28-04:00 SGT Eric Davis 3577131

SSG Jeremy Sharp makes a good point depends on the unit and commander; most time as long as you are in training then it shouldn’t be a problem. I been in females barracks all the time that was permanent party Response by SGT Eric Davis made Apr 25 at 2018 9:09 PM 2018-04-25T21:09:55-04:00 2018-04-25T21:09:55-04:00 SGM Bill Frazer 3578600

How, Why, When? Too vague here PV2- During duty hours, same unit, doors open- probably. After duty hours, same unit open doors, maybe. After lights out- NO. In my day no female was allowed pass CQ desk, but we didn't have combined gender training then either. The Command undoubtedly has a barracks SOP Posted somewhere- ask you NCO's Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Apr 26 at 2018 11:01 AM 2018-04-26T11:01:15-04:00 2018-04-26T11:01:15-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 3578763

What's the context of the question? Any duty station I've been at there are no male or female barracks - just males and females can't share rooms. I had male soldiers on my floor in the barracks - one next door.

The only place that lodging has been segregated really was basic/AIT and deployment. During deployment males and females in each other's rooms the door had to be open or something. I can't remember exactly.
