This includes the barracks for single members. I don’t think motherhood has anything to do with BAH entitlement. This is not just an Army thing….just saying. You must provide birth certificates etc to finance. I know single parents cannot enlist into the Army, if you had your child while serving in the Army then you are entitled to BAH at the dependent rate even if you live in the Barracks or BEQ. Korea service memebers are entitled to BAH at the defendant rate by the zip code thier family is living. I was married with two dependents and served an unaccompanied tour in Korea. Since I was in the paygrade of E-7 and above, I was entitled to BAH, OHA, Family Seperation Pay, and imminent danger pay. My Married Soldiers who were E-6 and below still earned full BAH, Family Separation pay and imminent danger pay while living in the BEQ. Again, the question is do you have current custody of your child? Are they enrolled in DEERs (Birth Cert)?
