Unlike the ACU which was originally designed to make everyone look uniform, they will more than likely be authorized. However, we all saw how long the "unauthorization" of badges and sewing lasted on our current uniform. I couldn't tell if they are pin or sewn on from the photo. AFAIK, the rules are still the same: If you sew them on, EVERYTHING must be sewed on. If you use Velcro tabs, then you use pin on badges. The uniform hasnt changed. You will still wear ACU's. The pattern is just different. The ACU-UCP is being phased out for the ACU-OCP. But its still just ACU's worn in the same manner, governed by the same regulation.
