Let me try to sum up everything.<br />A smoke session for a low PT score? No.<br />Any form of punishment for a low score that still achieves 60-60-60? No.<br />However, additional PT is not, in and of itself, punishment. Especially if that additional PT is conducted &quot;on the clock.&quot; (I.e. no &quot;Squad dismissed. Except for PVT Schmedlap.&quot;) <br />Remember that the &quot;T&quot; in PT (or PRT) is TRAINING. If the squad leader, in her or his expert opinion, believes that the most important training focus for a Soldier at a given point in time is physical fitness/readiness, then the squad leader has a DUTY to train that Soldier. NCOs are responsible for your training, welfare, etc., etc. and can exhort more to help you by competitive against others. Bottom Line- shut up, work hard and exceed the standards.
