<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have never had a strider knife but know their reputation. For price It would matter in the type of steel they use and the craftsmanship. I'm actually a fan of SOG knives. I have owned Kbar, Boker and kershaw and believe they are also good brands. The best knife is a sharp knife!

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>They are nice, but a $40 pig sticker will kill them just as dead. Durability comes into play if you plan on using it for many purposes. Then again, that's what multi-tools are for.<br />No knife is worth that amount, unless you have more money than you need, are a collector, or just have to be the coolest kid in the barracks.
