Honestly, I would hope not, as 42A has historically been overstrength. Took me reclassing to 25B to pick up SGT.Response by SGT James LeFebvre made Dec 18 at 2018 9:18 PM2018-12-18T21:18:31-05:002018-12-18T21:18:31-05:00LTC Jason Mackay4218926<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What a hot mess that would be. We still have Comptroller, Accounting, Vendor Pay, Disbursing and so on. If you get a chance to deploy as a 36B you'll see that we dont do much of military pay down range.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 22 at 2018 6:59 PM2018-12-22T18:59:31-05:002018-12-22T18:59:31-05:001SG Private RallyPoint Member4230832<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="174464" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/174464-36b-financial-management-technician-1k-mid-atlantic-1st-rec-bde">SSG Private RallyPoint Member</a> , as a Senior AG NCO, I echo what <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="1426751" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/1426751-36b-financial-management-technician-266th-fin-21st-tsc">MSG Private RallyPoint Member</a> said. While in the S-1, 90% of Soldier pay issues could be resolved within the S-1 if we (42A) had some additional military pay training and access. With the release of IPPS-A, the S-1 will gain the necessary access to be empowered to assist with Soldier pay issues. Training is being conducted as we speak (Train the Trainer) and will continue to a part of the SSI’s revision of the POI for PME.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 23 at 2018 6:18 PM2018-12-23T18:18:14-05:002018-12-23T18:18:14-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member4369495<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not true. I spoke to someone I know who's 36B Finance and he said they're just laying off the pay function as that's transitioning to AG. They're focusing on the marketing aspects of finance. No need to reclass as it's still two separate CMFs.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 15 at 2019 3:14 AM2019-02-15T03:14:57-05:002019-02-15T03:14:57-05:002018-12-18T21:14:27-05:00
