As far as anything else though, it is up to your chain of command to release you for such. And then there is a funding issue.&amp;nbsp; Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 9 at 2013 10:07 PM 2013-12-09T22:07:29-05:00 2013-12-09T22:07:29-05:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 18846 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am glad you posted this question because I was going to post it myself. I am trying to decide right now if I want to submit a packet for Recruiting School and this is one of the factors I am using to heavily weigh my decision. Any other schools that are not duty related, pretty much forget them until you either go back to a TDA unit or you move up in USAREC to higher unit positions if you decide to make the switch permanently to R. Either way fight for what is in your best interest of your progression, you are the controller of your career believe it or not. If you don't handle it, the system will handle you and your getting out at 15 as an E5, the P don't get you to 20 anymore. Sorry for late response been away fr computer. It helped me in so many areas: counseling, interpersonal skills, organization, managing extremely large groups (events) and human behavior. I recommend everyone do it. Plus it looks highly favorable to Senior NCO boards.
