I've been to San Diego recently and didn't see any. The last time I saw a Quonset hut was when I worked at Camp Upsher (OCS) at Quantico. I did spend some time in "A" frames at 29 Palms on a couple of CAX exercises in 1984. All I know is that they have been collecting a lot of dust Response by Cpl Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 6 at 2015 4:11 PM 2015-08-06T16:11:12-04:00 2015-08-06T16:11:12-04:00 1stSgt Private RallyPoint Member 870301

See above comment. Based on location, I would estimate they are historic (Storage) as opposed to operational.

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Marine+Corps+Recruit+Depot+San+Diego/@32.7380316, [login to see] ,357m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x80deaba419e6d5b5:0x991353ac0955b5de!6m1!1e1 Response by Sgt Aaron Kennedy, MS made Aug 7 at 2015 7:57 AM 2015-08-07T07:57:30-04:00 2015-08-07T07:57:30-04:00 Capt Private RallyPoint Member 928063

There's plenty still being used for storage at MCRD SD.
