I agree with JP4 on this. What makes it suck is the vagueness of it, but depending on the rank of the interpreter of the reg, it's either much more "clear" or twice as "cloudy". I say that meaning I could read the reg and it's crystal clear to me. MAJ reads it and "based upon his expert level of knowledge, his time in command, and his college degree", he's the one who's right.

There is no ambiguity when it comes to this. Persons with rank must be in those positions as teachers, mentors, and leaders. They must foster trust and respect with troops. That means not banging your troops. Lead from the front and Weed out the 10%.
