I am currently a SPC(p) with an MOS of 68W. I am hoping to become a NCO in the next couple of months. Per the new milper message that just came out will i be able to reclass from 68W to 35T?

There are always open seats at the Tango course, look on HRC home page and find the contact info for the Tango assignment manager, any waivers go through the Office of the Chief of MI, they will be able to put you in contact.

Per the new MILPER message, once you are a SGT you can reclass into 35T....provided:
1 there is a training seat available for reclass
2 you have at least 1 year on station OR if you are OCONUS the class seat must be within 60 days of DEROS
3 you meet all prerequisites including the interim TS/SCI and line scores

I’ve been here for 2 years already and my reenlistment window is open. I am just trying to get some points for i can pick up. I need approximately 30 points. I am CONUS. I believe i have the GT scores and etc for 35T, but i was told i can’t start on a TS until i re-enlist to reclass so therefore the interim wouldn’t be complete until AIT has already begun and/or completed. I currently have a Secert clearance.

SGT(P) (Join to see) you can't reenlist for a training seat until you meet certain prerequisites. CMF35 requires a TS for all the MOS's. The current policy is that you cannot be slotted for a TS class seat until you have an interim TS for most of them.

SFC (Join to see) Just got clarification. I would need to see my career counselor in order to get the proper paper work and etc in order to get started on my interim TS, correct? I believe she has to give justification.

Yes, your S2 will usually require a memo from the CC in order to initiate the clearance.
