Are there any additional items you would recommend getting before Ordnance BOLC that are not on the packing list? Anything for the winter?

While I am fairly certain that flashlight is on your packing list, I would recommend a red lens headlamp. Also, perhaps some additional thermal socks....as the Army issued socks aren't that warm in the winter time.

The only things I would bring in addition to the packing list are civilian items. Extra civilian clothes, entertainment, work out equipment to use in your room, civilian PTs, and a car if you're not getting a rental. You are going to have a lot of free time. Enjoy VA and the surrounding area. There's a lot to do and a lot of history there. I had a really fun time at ODBOLC and still learned A LOT. Also, remember that if you forget something, you can alway just go get it while you're there, because... Free time.

I had a great OD BOLC. If I would suggest anything else not on the packing list is personal entertainment items. The internet connection sucked! Also, I hope you are POVing out there. I went out to DC, Virginia Beach 3 times, Shenandoah National Park and several other great places.
Another thing to do is network as much as you can out there. I still talk to all my BOLC buddies when I run in to a "2LT" problem and want outside opinions.

I bought a router while I was down there because the internet sucked big time. That was super helpful. My printer also was very handy. Also, if you are on one of the lower floors of the hotel you will get very little to no cell service in your room. As for clothing, if you are going during the winter, bring all your cold weather gear, waffles, gloves, neck gator, etc. You won't get issued any. They will issue you an ACH, sleeping bag, wet weather gear (mine was huge on me so I used my own), LBV, IOTV, and ruck. I brought my own assault pack and weapons cleaning kit that I used all the time. My goretex boots were a life saver. We had some cases of frost nip/bite during land nav when peoples feet got wet then froze. If you have any more questions, fire away! Good luck!
