During the hiring process there was a conflict of interest between my civilian employer (DoD) and maintaining military obligations. I would like to come out of IRR if there is a unit willing to work with me. I will be living in Japan until October. However I have been assured that I have the support of Delta Detachment , 1st Space command in Misawa, Japan and support from the reserve unit at Camp Zama, Japan for APFT, weapons qualification and any other requirements. I’m employed by the federal government (VA) and I receive 120 hours of military time to fulfill my obligations. I believe that this is pretty much the standard for all federal entities. <br />Contact your local ESGR office and seek their help.
